Overview: This work is inspired by the current popular algorithm intimacy phenomenon. The endless emotional tests and AI emotional analysis content on social platforms have triggered reflection: can complex interpersonal emotions be simply defined by data, labels and quantitative scores? The project focuses on multiple core issues, explores how algorithms can reshape intimate relationships and emotional expression, and examines the algorithm culture and data justice issues behind them.
The project takes an AI love song as the carrier and criticises the reality that intimate emotions are quantified and commercialised. The work analyses three core contradictions: the platform disassembles complex emotions into computable data; relies on algorithm matching to intervene in the way people build relationships; intimate interaction eventually becomes a data resource that can be controlled and profited by the platform. The metaphor of the work, the algorithm builds an invisible cage, trapping the intimate relationship that originally developed naturally.

Poster description: With Cyber-Style Visuals, It Shows The Media Research Combined With AI Music, Focussing On The Intimate Relationship Formed By Algorithm Intermediaries. The poster presents the core content and theoretical framework of the work, criticises the platform to transform emotions into computing data and operate them commercially, and explores the real dilemma brought about by artificial intelligence to reshape the emotional experience.
